WANT MORE SOFT TISSUE WORK/MASSAGE?
If you have limited massage therapy benefits (e.g. $350 per category), have you considered using your chiropractic benefits for soft tissue work/massage?
I provide two soft tissue massage techniques under my chiropractic license, which are both used in massage techniques.
1. Myofascial Release (aka Active Release Technique), and
2. Scraping technique (aka Graston, Rockblade or Gua sha).
1. This is done by placing pressure/compressing the desired areas, and then passively elongating the muscles treated. e.g. pressing on the shoulder muscles adjoining the neck muscles, and then bending the head away to achieve a stretch while kneading the muscle to cause a release.
2. This is done using a metal stainless steel tool to break down tight muscles and restricted fascia connective tissues.
So why not use your chiropractic benefits to gain more soft tissue work/massage?
Chiropractic care with me is equivalent to having physical therapy type treatments plus massage!
